MasterpieceVR releases a MIXER Update with REMIX Update Coming in October

One of the main issues facing VR today is how to create a smoother overall experience that is faster and gives creators more control when 3D modeling. As the industry moves forward with fantastic leaps and bounds, every new update, hardware upgrade, or introduced feature focuses on future thinking. There is this attitude that as technologies develop we should never look back. MasterpieceVR values the interplay between traditional and new ways of creating. We honour the past as we build a new future for creating 3D content that will benefit creative professionals and industries, such as gaming, animation, and education.

Our next two updates MIXER and REMIX allow you the power to create quickly. This is for creatives who remixes concepts, designs, and artwork everyday. These updates push the boundaries of virtual reality 3D content creation. The most exciting feature available today is the MasterpieceVR integrated library to SketchFab and GooglePoly.

The history of modelling has roots in a pastime that is at the heart 3D creation and Virtual Reality. Popularized in the 1960s with model airplanes, trains, automobiles, and other vehicles kitbashing was used to create VFX for films like Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, George Lucas’s A New Hope, and Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner. MIXER and REMIX is an ode to the history of kitbashing.
